The actor took to Twitter on March 26 to announce a pretty genius idea. “Hey
@MTV, I think it’s time to bring Teen Wolf back for new episodes,” Tyler wrote. And he even has an idea for a reboot title. “First Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” he added. “Now Teen Wolf: High School Reunion. I’m ready. And 28 so it’s an appropriate age.”
And it gets better, because Tyler’s costars are into the idea too. Cody Christian replied, declaring that he is “So. Down,” while Colton Haynes tweeted: “I’m in!” The official Twitter account for MTV even responded, quipping: “I wish I possessed this power!!!” Trust us, so do we! Who do we talk to in order to make this happen?
This isn’t the first time that Tyler has expressed interest in continuing Scott McCall’s journey. The actor has previously mused about the possibility of a Teen Wolf movie (into it) and he once opened up about his affinity for re-watching old episodes. “It’s nice taking breaks from it, then going back and reminiscing,” Tyler told a fan earlier this year. We completely and totally agree!
Teen Wolf aired its final episode in September 2017, after running for six seasons on MTV. We’ll have to wait and see if a reboot or revival is in store for Tyler and the rest of the crew, but we definitely wouldn’t mind returning to Beacon Hills for one last adventure. And in the age of reboots, we’re pretty sure anything could happen.
